The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 54 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,889 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged well (89.6% of total cumulative cases).
A total of 115 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 11,034 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,011 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.
Of the 115 additional cases reported today, three (3) are imported cases who were infected overseas.
Of the 112 local transmission cases reported today, 98 cases are Malaysians and 14 cases are non-Malaysians.
Currently, eight (8) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with five (5) patients on ventilation support.
No additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are 134 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.22% of total cumulative cases).
