The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 57 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 10,340 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (80.7% of total cumulative cases).
A total of 432 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 12,813 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 2,336 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.
Of the 432 cases reported today, three (3) are imported cases who were infected overseas.
Of the 429 local transmission cases, 409 cases are Malaysians and 20 cases non-Malaysians.
Currently, 32 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with eight (8) patients on ventilation support.
No additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there remains 137 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.07% of total cumulative cases).
