Style search engine and community platform launches in Malaysia
Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO announced the launch of StyleHint in Malaysia. StyleHint is a mobile app that gives users the opportunity to discover clothing they love and new ways to style their favorite pieces from daily uploads coming from people all around the world. Following on from the app’s successful launch in Japan, the U.S., some EU markets, Thailand and Philippines, StyleHint will be available to download in Malaysia via the iOS and Android app marketplaces starting July 4, 2022.
StyleHint functions as a style search engine for its members. It allows users to upload photos of items they love and be matched with similar UNIQLO styles that they can purchase immediately through the app. StyleHint also enables UNIQLO LifeWear fans to swap styling suggestions and shop curated looks posted by fellow fashion-focused members of this worldwide digital community.

How it works: Find styles you love with a simple search: Search styles from around the world with photos you’ve taken or saved. Find items to bring looks you love to life and discover new ways to wear ones you already own.
Instantly shop items you fall for: Get items similar to styles you find. Clothes that you want to wear now, delivered straight to you.
Share your favorite outfits with the world: Take a picture of your favorite outfit and the items are tagged automatically. Share trends with fellow members around the world.
