Secret Recipe introduces a fresh take on a beloved classic, pairing every slice with an exclusive, limited edition sticker sheet by Malaysian artist BlueBean

Some flavours have a way of bringing us back to familiar moments. Secret Recipe is giving one of its beloved classics a fresh new look with its new Carrot Cake, now available as a 6-inch whole cake topped with playful 3D chocolate carrot-shaped decor.
Adding a whimsical Malaysian touch to the familiar favourite, Secret Recipe has teamed up with acclaimed local artist BlueBean for a collaboration that brings the Carrot Cake to life through BlueBean's adorable characters.
“As a proudly Malaysian brand, Secret Recipe is committed to supporting local artists and celebrating homegrown creativity. BlueBean’s signature whimsy adds a playful and distinctive touch to celebrate the launch of our new Carrot Cake, and we hope the exclusive designs will make the experience even more special for our customers,” said Ryan Chung, Marketing Manager at Secret Recipe.
The Carrot Cake combines a moist carrot sponge packed with walnuts with layers of cream cheese frosting, before being finished with cookie crumbs and playful 3D chocolate carrot decor. It can be enjoyed by the slice or shared as a whole cake during family gatherings, bringing a warm and comforting taste to the table.

Drawing inspiration from the Carrot Cake's charming appearance, Malaysian book illustrator and artist Angela Wong, Founder of BlueBean Art Studio, brings her signature whimsical style to the collaboration by pairing her cute and quirky characters with a familiar Secret Recipe favourite.
BlueBean's characters have previously appeared across animations, music videos, commercial advertisements and events. Wong also wrote and illustrated her first picture book, After You Left, You Left Me With A Gift, a story close to her heart that explores "every little feeling inside" after experiencing loss.
“As a Malaysian artist, it’s always exciting to see my own characters come to life in new ways. This collaboration gave me the opportunity to bring the whimsical world of BlueBean into something as familiar and well-loved as Secret Recipe’s cakes. I had so much fun working on the designs and I hope that they bring an extra bit of joy to everyone who enjoys the Carrot Cake!” said Angela Wong, Founder of BlueBean Art Studio.
The Carrot Cake will be available from 5 October onwards at Secret Recipe outlets nationwide. In Peninsular Malaysia, it is priced at RM13.50 per slice and RM98 for a whole cake, while in Langkawi, it is priced at RM12.75 per slice and RM92.45 for a whole cake.
From 19 October onwards, customers who purchase either a slice or a whole Carrot Cake will also receive an exclusive BlueBean sticker sheet. The sticker sheets are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
