DoctorOnCall Partners Merchantrade Money to Offer Convenient Digital Health Service to App Users

Recently, DoctorOnCall has signed a Partnership agreement with Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd (Merchantrade). This partnership will allow users of the Merchantrade Money application to access online consultations with accredited doctors and e-pharmacy, purchase medication safely and have them delivered conveniently. Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [9 March 2020]

A total of 18 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH. They have all been identified and isolated for further management. Investigation and identification of close contacts for testing are currently ongoing. With these additional 18 cases, cumulatively there are now 117 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Of these, 19 cases were amongst Patients Under Investigation (PUI), 96 cases amongst close contacts, and two (2) amongst evacuees of the Humanitarian Assistance missions. The two (2) cases that were reported yesterday to be in the intensive care units (ICU) are still in the ICU requiring ventilation support. A total of six (6) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH. They have all been identified and isolated for further management. Investigation and identification of close contacts for testing are currently ongoing. All the additional cases reported today are close contacts of the COVID-19 cluster relating to Case 26. They were all identified during contact tracing activities and have been admitted to the isolation ward in hospitals for further management. Investigation and contact tracing activities are still ongoing to identify the source of infection.  With these additional six (6) cases, cumulatively there are now 99 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [7 March 2020]

A total of ten (10) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases (Cases 84 to 93) were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH. They are all currently receiving treatment. Investigation and identification of close contacts for testing are currently ongoing. All the additional cases reported today are close contacts to Case 33. Of these, four (4) cases (Cases, 85, 86, 87 and 93) are the first-generation close contacts to Case 33, while six (6) cases (Cases 84, 88, 89, 90, 91 and 92) are the second-generation close contacts to Case 33. They were all identified during contact tracing activities and have been admitted to the isolation wards in hospitals for further management.

Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [6 March 2020]

As of 6 March 2020 at 12.00 pm, 28 new cases (56th to 83rd) of COVID-19 infections have been reported in Malaysia. All of these cases have been detected for further treatment. The close contacts of these cases are also being identified for further investigation and sampling. This makes the cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases in Malaysia a total of 83 cases. These positive cases include Patient-Under-Investigation (PUI) COVID-19 infections, close contacts, and Humanitarian Aid Missions. 65 were Malaysian citizens, 15 were Chinese and three (3) were other nationals (ie the United States, Japan and Italy).

Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [5 March 2020]

Five (5) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases (Cases 51, 52, 53, 54 and 55) were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) Ministry of Health (MOH) today. Cumulatively as of 5 March 2020, 12 PM, there are now 55 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Of these, 22 cases have fully recovered and discharged well. All additional cases reported today are related to the one (1) COVID-19 cluster that was identified involving Case 26. These cases were close contacts to confirmed COVID-19 cases in this cluster. To date, this cluster consists of 26 confirmed cases. Investigation and contact tracing activities are still ongoing.
