Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [26 May 2020]
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 62 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 6,041 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (79.4% of total cumulative cases). A total of 187 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 7,604 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,448 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Currently, eight (8) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, five (5) cases are on ventilation support. Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are 115 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.51% of total cumulative cases). The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 34 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 5,979 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (80.61% of total cumulative cases). A total of 172 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 7,417 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,323 active and infective COVID-19 cases . Of the 172 additional cases reported today, five (5) are imported cases who were infected overseas, while 167 cases are local transmission. Currently, 8 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, four (4) cases are on ventilation support. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 33 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 5,945 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (82.06% of total cumulative cases). A total of 60 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 7,245 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,185 active and infective COVID-19 cases . Of the 60 additional cases reported today, seven (7) are imported cases who were infected overseas, while 53 cases are local transmission. Cumulatively, 5,912 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (82.28% of total cumulative cases). A total of 48 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively, 5,859 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (82.09% of total cumulative cases). A total of 78 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today.
