Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [3 June 2020]
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 61 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 6,531 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (81.9% of total cumulative cases). A total of 93 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 7,970 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,324 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. All of the 93 additional cases reported today were local transmission, of which 91 cases are non-Malaysians; 55 cases are from the Bukit Jalil Immigration Detention Centre and 36 cases from the Pedas Cluster. Only two (2) cases involved Malaysians . No imported cases are reported today. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 66 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 6,470 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (82.14% of total cumulative cases). A total of 20 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 7,877 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,292 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 20 additional cases reported today, 15 are imported cases who were infected overseas. Of the 5 locally transmitted cases, 3 cases are non-Malaysians. The remaining 2 cases are local transmission amongst Malaysians.
