Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [7 September 2020]
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that nine (9) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,124 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (96.5% of total cumulative cases). A total of 62 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,459 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 207 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 62 additional cases reported today, six (6) are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving two (2) Malaysians and four (4) non-Malaysians Of the 56 local transmission cases reported today, 30 cases are among Malaysians and 26 cases are among non-Malaysians . The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that two (2) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,115 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (97.0% of total cumulative cases). A total of six (6) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,397 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 154 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the six (6) additional cases reported today, three (3) are imported cases who were infected overseas all involving non-Malaysians . The three (3) local transmission cases are among Malaysians .
