Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today received the "Abdul Rahman bin Auf" Special Award from the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) following its commitment to fulfilling the business zakat including managing the wakalah distribution, for 2018.
Hajah Anis Zuhaini Ahmad, General Manager of the Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Group TH received the award from Dato 'Syed Ghazali Wafa, Member of the Zakat Collection Zakat Operations Committee, accompanied by LZS Chief Coordinating Officer, Abdul Basith bin Hamid, and Head of Collection Division LZS, En Mohd Sabirin b Mohd Sarbini at Orchid Hall, Wisma PKPS, Shah Alam.
TH is a consistent zakat payer and also works with the Zakat Collection Center throughout the country to distribute zakat to eligible asnaf in an effort to help their socio-economic.
