AirAsia has won Gold in the Transportation, Travel and Tourism category at the Putra Brand Awards 2019, maintaining a decade-long run as Malaysia’s preferred travel brand.
AirAsia Group Head of Branding Rudy Khaw accepted the award at a ceremony held at the Majestic Hotel here last night.
AirAsia Group Head of Branding Rudy Khaw said, “We would like to thank all our guests who voted for us. We are delighted to know the AirAsia brand continues to resonate with Malaysians from all walks of life, even as we move towards becoming a travel and lifestyle tech company. This award is dedicated to everyone who believes in us, and to all our Allstars who have worked hard to build AirAsia into what it is today.”
The Putra Brand Awards, organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) and endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), is Malaysia’s premier brand awards, and measures consumers preference and involve comprehensive processes in collaboration with its global research partner Ipsos, a leading global research agency with over 16,000 member staff in 88 countries.
There are a total of 23 categories this year, and a total pool of over 8,000 respondents from across Malaysia providing insights and preferences regarding awareness, favourability, trust and advocacy towards brands from all categories.
