Siti Khadijah Seal An Exclusive Partnership with MOBY Islamic, Bringing a Shariah-Compliant BNPL Option to Its Stores Nationwide

Homegrown telekung enterprise Siti Khadijah continues its rapid growth recently achieving a landmark of 45 stores.

Commemorating the milestone, Siti Khadijah announced an exclusive partnership with local ‘buy now, pay later’ (BNPL) platform MOBY Islamic — previously known as AiraPay. The collaboration will bring Malaysia’s first fully Shariah-compliant BNPL option to Siti Khadijah’s online store and physical outlets nationwide.

Crafted with the modern Malay woman in mind, Siti Khadijah has grown from its humble beginnings as a small business to a regional household name, with a flourishing online store as well as 45 boutique outlets across Malaysia and two (2) in Indonesia. The proudly Malaysian brand has stitched together a sterling reputation for making quality telekung easily accessible to female Muslims.

With financial accessibility in mind, Siti Khadijah’s customers will now be able to enjoy a monthly instalment plan of up to six (6) months for their in store purchases. This solution, will soon be extended to online purchases—allowing all customers to benefit from the flexible payment structure. As a fully Shariah-compliant platform, MOBY Islamic’s flexible split payment instalments are completely interest-free and are based on the Qard contract.

As a special thank you to its clientele, Siti Khadijah is further extending exclusive discounts to new MOBY users: RM50 off with a minimum purchase of RM500 or RM25 off with a minimum purchase of RM250. Both offers are limited to the first 250 users to redeem the discounts, and will be available for new MOBY users registered from the 15th to the 28th of February 2023.

Besides split payments, MOBY is also the first BNPL platform in Malaysia to extend immediate

payment options to its users — namely the PayNow feature. Through PayNow, customers can enjoy vouchers and discounts on their purchases.
