Malaysian Teens Win Spot at FedEx Asia Finals with Sustainable Fashion Pitches

Malaysian Students to Represent at FedEx/JA Asia Finals 2025

Meet the next-gen changemakers. Six brilliant secondary school students from Malaysia are headed to Singapore this August to compete in the FedEx JA ITC Malaysia 2025 Asia Pacific regional finals. Their mission? To shake up the fashion industry with sustainable, tech-forward solutions that tackle product return waste in China.

This year marks the 17th edition of the FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (ITC) in Malaysia, a program dedicated to empowering young minds with global business skills. In collaboration with JA Malaysia, the program challenges students to think globally, act sustainably, and create solutions with real-world impact.

It’s more than a pitch competition. Finalists will:

  • Collaborate with peers from across Asia

  • Engage in cultural exchange and team challenges

  • Connect with FedEx execs and industry mentors

  • Get hands-on experience in building global businesses

A Platform for the Future

FedEx Malaysia’s Managing Director, Tien Long Woon, put it best: “As Malaysia cultivates entrepreneurial talent, it is important that young people are equipped with business skills alongside a global mindset.”

Since 2008, over 9,900 Malaysian students have joined this program. With past winners placing in the Top 3 and even taking home the #1 spot regionally, Malaysia’s youth continue to prove they’re ready to lead
