Run. Eat. Celebrate Merdeka Vibes at the Curve Food Run 2025
Looking for a Merdeka celebration that goes beyond fireworks and flags? Mark your calendar for 30 August 2025 because the Curve Merdeka Food Run 2025 is serving up a full plate of fitness, fun, and flavours. This unique 5KM run blends Malaysia’s love for food and community into one epic experience and it’s all going down at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara.
More Than Just A Run, It’s a Flavour-Filled Merdeka Experience
After a successful first edition on 2024 that brought together over 1,500 participants, this year’s Merdeka Food Run is expected to draw up to 3,000 runners, from families and friends to fitness buffs and foodies.
Here’s what to expect:
- 📍 Date & Time: 30 August 2025, flag-off at 7:30AM from the Piazza
- 🍛 Makan Pit Stops: Enjoy local favourites like nasi lemak, satay, curry puffs, and more along the way
- 🏃♂️ Who’s Invited: Everyone – solo runners, families, corporate teams, and casual walkers
- 🎁 Lucky Draw: Stand a chance to win prizes worth RM10,000
- 💸 Discount Alert: Group of 4? You’ll get discounted registration rates
“Malaysians have always shared a strong bond over food, and what better way to celebrate Merdeka than uniting through our national passions, food and togetherness,” says En Jazmi Kamarudin, COO of Boustead Properties Berhad.
Register Before 3 August and Be Part of Something Bigger
Don’t sleep on this registration closes on 3 August 2025. You can sign up as an individual, with friends, or even as part of your office squad. Corporate packages are also available, perfect for team bonding before the long weekend kicks in.
Merdeka Month at the Curve: More Than Just the Run
The food run is just one slice of the Curve’s larger Merdeka Campaign 2025, which will take over the mall throughout August. Themed around health, heritage, and harmony, expect cultural showcases, performances, and family-friendly community engagements.
So whether you're there for the cardio or the carbs, the Curve is the place to be this Merdeka.
