Tesla Model 3 is now Available in New Hardware and Pricing, Further Enhancing the Driving and Ownership Experience to Drive EV Adoption

The Tesla Model 3, world’s best-selling electric sedan with the highest safety ratings since 2018, now comes with new hardware features, refreshed look and a new variant to further drive EV adoption and electric mobility.

The Model 3 now comes with a new front-facing camera to offer enhanced visibility for greater safety and easier parking, providing a total of eight cameras to support the vision-based system for Autopilot. In addition, Model 3 also features a traditional turn signal stalk for the ease and convenience of driving. The matt-black logo badges at the front and rear hoods add a futuristic look to the vehicle.

Tesla is committed to accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Tesla is making clean, safe and affordable transport accessible to everyone through continuous innovation and smarter production. With premium features built into every vehicle and an integrated ecosystem of retail, after-sales and comprehensive charging support, Tesla delivers more than just performance. Compared to a traditional petrol vehicle, owning a Tesla means lower charging costs, minimal maintenance and the everyday convenience of starting each drive with a full battery. In line with this commitment, Tesla Malaysia announce a price adjustment of up to 6% for Model 3, effective from October 3, 2025.

The Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive, a new variant introduced to Malaysia, can travel up to 750km (WLTP) on a single charge, boasting the longest range amongst all Tesla vehicles offered with price starts at RM 185,000. Using Supercharging at peak charging rate at 250kW, Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive can charge up to 311km in just 15 minutes*. *Range added in 15 minutes is based on constant speed data.

By building charging infrastructure around people’s lifestyle, Tesla keeps expanding its charging network in Malaysia to provide a seamless and comprehensive charging experience. As of today, 15 Supercharging stations (68 Superchargers) and 16 Destination Charging stations (73 Destination Chargers) are in operation to support 10,000+ owners on the road in Malaysia. More charging stations are coming soon by the end of 2025 such as Pavilion Damansara Heights, Nexus Bangsar South, and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey.

Under the Home Charging Program, Tesla owners can plug and charge the Tesla vehicles at where they live or work with 1 year of warranty and just starting from RM 1,900. Currently, over 8000 owners own a home charger in Malaysia, enabling owners to recharge at their convenience anytime.

Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive can be experienced at the Tesla Experience Centres in Malaysia soon.
