University of Cyberjaya Clinches Gold at Putra Aria Brand Awards 2025

Third consecutive year of recognition reflects strong and growing public confidence in UoC’s education brand


The University of Cyberjaya (UoC) clinched Gold in the Education and Learning category at the Putra Aria Brand Awards 2025, marking its third consecutive year of recognition at the national awards and the culmination of a steady upward journey. The achievement reflects strong and growing public endorsement of UoC’s brand, following its Bronze recognition in its first year and a Silver win last year.

The Putra Aria Brand Awards, established in 2022, recognise brands that demonstrate strong branding and marketing efforts, growth in consumer preference, and relevance among the public. Winners are determined through large-scale voluntary consumer voting and surveys, often involving tens of thousands of respondents, assessing brand familiarity, experience, and likelihood to recommend.

UoC’s Gold recognition underscores its continued commitment to delivering relevant, high-quality education and a positive student experience, through programmes aligned with industry needs and evolving professional pathways. It reflects an approach grounded in academic quality, practical relevance, and meaningful engagement with students, partners, and the wider community, as well as the trust placed in the University by the public and the collective efforts of its students, alumni, staff, and partners who continue to shape its journey and impact.

On this recognition, University of Cyberjaya Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive, Professor Dr. David Whitford, said: “This recognition matters deeply to us because it reflects the trust placed in the University by the public, and the collective efforts of our students, alumni, staff, and partners who shape what we do every day. Achieving Gold at the Putra Aria Brand Awards, building on recognition in previous years, affirms that our focus on relevant, high-quality education and a positive student experience is being felt. It reinforces our commitment to raising standards and to preparing graduates who can contribute thoughtfully and meaningfully to society.”

In 2023, UoC was honoured with a Silver award under the same category, following a Bronze recognition the year before, reflecting consistent brand momentum and growing resonance among Malaysian consumers.

As a complementary platform to the long-established Putra Brand Awards, the Putra Aria Brand Awards were created to recognise emerging, growing, and rebranded brands that demonstrate promise and strong connection with consumers across various sectors.
