Munchy’s Introduces New Cheese and Chocolate Crackers Variants

Munchy’s expands its crackers portfolio with the introduction of two new flavours, Cheese and Chocolate, unveiled at a launch event held at Mydin Subang Jaya. The launch reflects the evolving expectations of Malaysian consumers, where both flavour depth and texture now shape everyday snacking experiences.

Crackers have long held a place in Malaysian homes as a familiar, easy snack. Today, however, expectations have grown. Consumers are seeking more than just something light to nibble on. They are looking for flavours that linger and a crunch that remains consistent from the first bite to the last. In response, Munchy’s introduces these new variants to deliver a fuller taste experience paired with a more defined, satisfying crunch.



“Consumers today are looking for more than just a simple snack. They want something that delivers both flavour and texture in a way that feels satisfying. With the introduction of Cheese and Chocolate, we wanted to offer more variety while staying true to what people already enjoy about Munchy’s Crackers, which is that familiar crunch and ease of sharing in everyday moments,” said Ling Yee Wen, Marketing Director of URMunchy’s Malaysia.

The Cheese variant delivers a savoury richness, baked with real cheese for a more authentic taste. It caters to those who enjoy fuller, comforting flavours, whether paired with a warm drink or shared among family and friends. The Chocolate variant offers a sweeter alternative, balancing indulgence with everyday enjoyment, and providing greater variety within the same familiar range.



Both variants are crafted to deliver a consistent crunch throughout. This defining texture, combined with deeper flavour, enhances the overall snacking experience and makes even simple moments feel more rewarding. Rather than redefining what consumers already enjoy, these additions strengthen Munchy’s existing crackers range by expanding choice while maintaining its familiar role in daily routines, from coffee tables and office pantries to lunch boxes and social gatherings.

Food often anchors connection. A simple snack can spark conversations, laughter, or quiet moments shared. With the introduction of Cheese and Chocolate, Munchy’s continues its promise of bringing people together through snacks that are easy to enjoy and share.



The new Cheese and Chocolate Crackers are now available nationwide in 260g packs at a recommended retail price of RM5.60, at major supermarkets and hypermarkets.

The launch also takes place alongside the Riang Raya Bersama campaign by Munchy’s and Jack ‘n Jill, running from 17 February to 30 April 2026. Through this campaign, consumers stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM80,000, including a home makeover, encouraging families to come together and share meaningful festive moments.
