DJI Malaysia steps into the role of SIC Action Camera Partner, bringing automotive and racing enthusiasts closer to the race-day experience.
DJI Malaysia has teamed up with Sepang International Circuit as the Official Sepang International Circuit Action Camera Partner, bringing its creative camera technology into the heart of Malaysia's motorsport scene. Through the partnership, racing fans and content creators will have new ways to capture everything that makes a day at the circuit memorable, both on and off the track.
At the centre of the experience is the newly launched DJI Osmo 360 II. Whether capturing cars in action or the atmosphere surrounding the circuit, the camera can record the entire scene at once, allowing users to decide on their preferred angle afterwards. This means creators can include themselves, the racing action and their surroundings in a single story without having to commit to just one viewpoint before hitting record.
The Osmo 360 II is also built to handle the fast-moving action and changing lighting conditions of a race weekend. It offers native 8K/60fps 360° video, a 1-inch square HDR imaging sensor and 14.5-stop dynamic range, helping creators retain detail whether they are filming a car sweeping through a corner or reactions from spectators in the grandstands.
When the sun goes down, AI SuperNight 2.0 is designed to deliver clearer footage in low-light conditions. The camera also comes with ultra-hard replaceable lenses and 105 GB of built-in storage, giving users more flexibility to keep recording throughout a full day at the circuit.
One recording can also be transformed into several different pieces of content. Spotlight Follow keeps a chosen subject centred in the finished video, while Dual Recording captures both the creator and the surrounding environment from the same take.
For those looking to experiment further, the Osmo 360 II includes creative modes such as 4K/240fps 360° slow motion, 16K 360° Timelapse and 8K/120fps Vortex, offering different ways to showcase the speed, movement and energy of a race day.
