From haunted attractions and competitive Beyblade battles to esports tournaments and creative activities, SlyBear Scary Good Fest 2026 brought together gaming enthusiasts, hobby collectors and families for three days of entertainment at The Goodday Milk Factory in Petaling Jaya.

Held from 23 to 25 October 2026, the festival was presented by Goodday Milk in collaboration with event organisers SlyBear Eatery Sdn. Bhd. and Topcom Sdn. Bhd./Pulse Project Asia.

The three-day event transformed The Goodday Milk Factory's five-acre lifestyle destination into a gathering place for visitors of different ages and interests, offering a mix of gaming competitions, interactive attractions, creative workshops and community activities.

Haunted Attractions, Esports and Beyblade X Competitions
Among the festival's main attractions were a haunted house and the Cursed Royal Carriage, giving visitors the chance to experience a spooky adventure as part of the Halloween-themed festivities.

Gaming enthusiasts also had the opportunity to compete in esports tournaments featuring a total prize pool of RM2,300, adding a competitive element to the festival's entertainment line-up.

Meanwhile, Beyblade X fans gathered for competitions organised in collaboration with Warung Hobi and WAIBBA, bringing together players of different experience levels.

Special coaching sessions featured Akmal, Malaysia's 2025 G1 Champion and a World Championship representative, alongside Tito O, offering participants the opportunity to learn techniques and gain insights from experienced Beyblade players.

For younger visitors, an art competition for children aged six to 16 provided a creative outlet inspired by cartoons, comics, superheroes, anime and popular culture.

The combination of competitive gaming, creative expression and themed attractions ensured that visitors could explore activities suited to their individual interests.

The Goodday Milk Factory Brings Different Communities Together
For Goodday Milk, hosting SlyBear Scary Good Fest reflected the wider vision behind The Goodday Milk Factory as a lifestyle destination designed to bring people, ideas and communities together through shared experiences.

Amy Gan, Vice President of Marketing at Etika Sdn. Bhd., said the brand's approach to healthy living extends beyond nutrition to include meaningful connections and experiences.

“Goodday has always believed in making healthy living easy, but healthy living today goes beyond nutrition. It is also about bringing people together, building connections and creating experiences that enrich everyday life. That is the vision behind The Goodday Milk Factory, a space where good days come together.

“Through collaborations such as SlyBear Scary Good Fest, we hope to see this space continue to welcome different communities, interests and generations. It is an opportunity for Goodday to be part of Malaysians' lives beyond their homes, while supporting organisers who bring fresh and meaningful experiences to the community.”

The festival added to the venue's growing line-up of community experiences, demonstrating how collaborations with event organisers can create opportunities for Malaysians to discover new interests, connect with others and enjoy activities together.

SlyBear Eatery Celebrates Community Collaboration
What initially began as a smaller community event eventually developed into a three-day festival, driven by the enthusiasm of its organisers, partners and collaborators.

Sid Ng, Co-Founder and Executive Chef at SlyBear Eatery Sdn. Bhd., said the response from participating partners played an important role in expanding the event.

“What began as a small community event in planning turned into a 3-day festival because everyone that we work with just got so excited. It's heartening to know that our partners, collaborators, and the people we serve are so passionate about coming together for each other, which is why this event is absolutely FREE entry to anyone with paid experiences, of course.

“As long as there's good food, good fun, and good people around us, we hope this is the first of many festivals to come,” he said.

The festival offered free admission, with selected attractions and experiences available at an additional charge, allowing visitors to explore the event according to their interests.

This approach encouraged participation from families, hobby enthusiasts and members of the wider community, while giving organisers and participating businesses an opportunity to connect with new audiences.

Hobby Marketplace, Carnival Games and Festival Rewards
Beyond the main competitions and haunted attractions, SlyBear Scary Good Fest 2026 featured a hobby marketplace showcasing trading cards, toys and collectibles, providing enthusiasts with opportunities to explore their favourite interests.

Visitors could also enjoy carnival games, interactive brand experiences and a variety of food and beverage offerings throughout the three-day event.

Festival activities, competitions and lucky draws offered opportunities to win merchandise, collectibles and other prizes.

Those who purchased selected meals with Goodday Milk or Pepsi could also participate in a Spin & Win activity, offering instant prizes and a chance to enter the lucky draw.

Another interactive highlight was the Official Stamp & Win Postcard, which encouraged visitors to explore different festival zones and participate in selected activities for a chance to win prizes.

The event also brought together participating brands and community partners, including Goodday Charge, Pepsi, U Mobile, Famous Amos, Warung Hobi and the Malaysian Esports Federation, contributing to the range of experiences available to visitors.

Through its combination of gaming, hobbies, food, entertainment and community activities, SlyBear Scary Good Fest 2026 demonstrated how The Goodday Milk Factory can serve as a gathering place for Malaysians with different interests and backgrounds.

The collaboration also reflected Goodday Milk's efforts to develop its lifestyle destination beyond a conventional brand space, creating opportunities for community-driven events and shared experiences in Petaling Jaya.
