The HONOR X9e Pro is off to a strong start in Malaysia, with its entire pre-order allocation selling out within just seven days of its official launch. The response comes amid a softer smartphone market and rising memory costs, reflecting strong demand for the latest addition to HONOR's best-selling X Series.
HONOR positions the X9e Pro as "Pilihan Utama Rakyat Malaysia" in the mid-range segment, highlighting its durability, water resistance, large battery capacity and comprehensive device protection as some of its key strengths.
During the pre-order period, buyers received a FREE HONOR Pad X7 tablet, an RM100 rebate and two years of HONOR Rakyat Care+. The protection package includes two years of front and back screen crack protection, two years of liquid damage protection and a one-year extended warranty, bringing the total package value to RM1,626.
The pre-order allocation had originally been planned to support demand leading up to the phone's official first sale on 9 October 2026. Instead, all available units were snapped up within seven days, well ahead of schedule.
HONOR Malaysia is now working to replenish stocks ahead of the first sale. Customers purchasing the HONOR X9e Pro during the first sale will receive a FREE HONOR Watch 6i, together with the existing RM100 rebate and HONOR Rakyat Care+ protection package, while stocks last. The package has a total value of RM1,326.
0% Interest Instalments from RM158.25 per Month
For those who prefer to spread out their payments, HONOR is offering a 12-month 0% interest instalment plan for the HONOR X9e Pro, starting from RM158.25 per month.
The smartphone is available in four colour options, Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black, with two storage configurations. The 24GB RAM (8GB RAM + 16GB HONOR Turbo RAM) with 256GB storage is priced at RM1,899, while the 512GB storage variant retails at RM2,399.
The HONOR X9e Pro will be available at HONOR Experience Stores nationwide, the HONOR official website, official flagship stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, as well as authorised dealers.
Up to 3 Metres of Drop Resistance
Durability is one of the HONOR X9e Pro's main features, with the smartphone introducing Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 4.0. Its impact-management structure combines arch-shaped structures, high-strength metal reinforcement and full-area adhesive bonding to absorb and redirect impact away from critical components.
According to HONOR, the technology allows the phone to survive drops of up to 3 metres while reducing screen damage by up to 82%. The device has also earned SGS 5-Star Certification for Drop Resistance in Harsh Conditions.
IP68, IP69 and IP69K Water Resistance
The HONOR X9e Pro also upgrades its water resistance with IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. Its submarine-inspired multi-compartment architecture is designed to withstand depths of up to 10 metres, compared with 1.5 metres on the previous generation.
The device also supports underwater photography, including freediving at depths of up to 10 metres under controlled conditions.
An 11,000mAh Battery with 80W HONOR SuperCharge
Battery capacity receives another major upgrade, with the HONOR X9e Pro featuring an 11,000mAh battery, up from the previous generation's 8,300mAh capacity. HONOR describes it as the world's first smartphone to feature an 11,000mAh battery.
The battery is claimed to deliver up to 66.8 hours of video playback, while a single charge can last up to three days under typical use. The HONOR silicon-carbon battery supports 80W HONOR SuperCharge as well as 27W wired reverse charging for compatible smartphones, including iPhone and Apple devices.
6.8-inch Display with Up to 10,000 Nits Brightness
On the front, the HONOR X9e Pro features a 6.8-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 10,000 nits, which HONOR claims is the brightest in the industry. The higher brightness is designed to improve screen visibility when using the phone under strong sunlight.
Eye Comfort Technology has also been upgraded, with features including AI Defocus Display, Motion Sickness Relief, Circadian Night Display and DOT Eye Comfort Protection.
