Malaysians looking to invest in overseas shares now have another way to get started without leaving TNG eWallet. TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. (“TNG Digital”) has partnered with Webull Securities (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“Webull Malaysia”) to introduce global share trading through GOfinance, TNG eWallet's all-in-one financial hub.
Through the partnership, eligible Malaysians can access the US, Hong Kong and China A-share markets, expanding the range of investment options available within an app they may already use for everyday payments and other financial services.
The collaboration combines TNG eWallet's familiar and secure access point with Webull Malaysia's regulated brokerage services and advanced trading tools. Eligible users can digitally open a Webull Malaysia trading account through GOfinance and fund the account directly using their TNG eWallet balance, subject to eligibility and account approval.
GOfinance Expands Beyond Everyday Financial Services
As of August 2026, GOfinance had 8.5 million users, with more than four million transacting each month. Of these users, 46% held more than one financial services product, reflecting the platform's growing role in supporting financial needs beyond payments.
The introduction of Webull Malaysia builds on this by adding overseas share investing to the financial services available through GOfinance.
“Our aim with GOfinance is to bring more financial choices into an app Malaysians already use and know. With Webull Malaysia, eligible users can take the next step into overseas share investing, starting with digital account opening and funding. The partnership combines TNG eWallet’s reach with Webull Malaysia’s specialist expertise, helping us support a wider range of financial needs beyond payments,” said Desmond Teoh, Chief Financial Services Officer at TNG Digital.
Market Information, Trading Tools and 24-Hour Weekday Trading
Through Webull Malaysia, users can access market information, educational resources and charting tools to research investments and conduct their own analysis.
Those investing in eligible US stocks can also make use of 24-hour weekday trading, providing greater flexibility to trade outside regular US market hours.
“For too long, global markets have been out of reach for too many first-time investors. Webull breaks down these barriers, and through this partnership, GOfinance users do not need to even download a new app to access a free learning hub and begin trading US stocks and ETFs with zero commission and no platform fee.
“To Webull, financial inclusion means more than simply giving people access to a platform. It means giving them the knowledge, confidence and opportunity to take that first step into investing – and making global investing genuinely accessible to everyone,” said Kenneth Chan, Chief Executive Officer at Webull Malaysia.
