DJI has introduced the DJI Power Auro 2000 Elite in Malaysia, a portable power station featuring approximately 2kWh battery capacity, 2000W output and integrated car and solar charging capabilities, priced at RM6,509.

Announced on 6 November 2026, the device is described as DJI's most compact 2kWh power station, designed for outdoor activities, home backup power and professional applications such as photography and drone operations.

The Power Auro 2000 Elite combines a built-in car charger, maximum power point tracking (MPPT) solar charging module, retractable 140W USB-C cable and two smart SDC ports within a single unit.

According to DJI, the power station has been available through authorised DJI Malaysia retailers nationwide since 28 October 2026.

DJI Power Auro 2000 Elite Features a Smaller, Lighter Design
Compared with the existing DJI Power 2000, the new Auro 2000 Elite is 24% smaller by volume and 14% lighter, weighing approximately 19kg.

Its compact construction is intended to make storage and transportation easier, particularly for users travelling by car or bringing power equipment to outdoor locations.

The device also features a single-sided port arrangement, allowing users to access its connections whether the power station is positioned upright or horizontally.

DJI states that the unit delivers up to 2000W of stable pure sine wave output and can support selected appliances rated at approximately 2200W, subject to operating conditions.

It is optimised for everyday power loads ranging from 100W to 400W, making it suitable for various electronic devices and smaller appliances used during camping trips, outdoor productions and temporary power interruptions.

The company also plans to introduce a compatible expansion battery at a later date, allowing the system's total capacity to reach up to 12kWh. The expansion battery is not included in the announced configuration.

Five Charging Methods Include Solar, Car and Grid Power
One of the main differences between the Power Auro 2000 Elite and conventional portable power stations is its integrated charging system, which reduces the need for separate charging modules.

The device supports five recharging methods:
  • Grid charging: Supports up to 2000W input and can recharge from 0% to 80% in approximately 60 minutes.
  • Car charging: Uses the built-in car charger connected directly to a vehicle battery, with a full recharge possible in as little as four hours.
  • Solar charging: Uses the integrated MPPT module, with both SDC ports supporting up to 1200W combined input and a full recharge in approximately 2.7 hours.
  • Combined solar and car charging: Supports simultaneous input of up to 600W from each source.
  • Intelligent Hybrid Recharging: Combines grid electricity with solar or car power for total charging input of up to 2000W.
These charging figures are based on DJI's controlled testing, and actual charging speeds may vary depending on available power, weather conditions, accessories and other factors.

The power station also includes a retractable 140W USB-C cable supporting compatible USB Power Delivery 3.1 devices. Its cable module is replaceable, while the two SDC ports support compatible charging accessories and DJI equipment.

LFP Battery Rated for More Than 6,000 Charging Cycles
The DJI Power Auro 2000 Elite uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells, which the company says are designed to retain more than 70% of their original capacity after 6,000 charging cycles.

DJI estimates this could correspond to approximately 10 years of daily use under its stated testing assumptions.

The battery system incorporates 13 temperature sensors and 40 built-in fuses, supported by a battery management system that monitors operating conditions and can suspend operation when an abnormality is detected.

According to DJI, the cells have undergone nail penetration, impact and drop testing. The enclosure also features a 5VB flame-retardant rating, while a protective coating is designed to improve resistance to moisture, salt spray and corrosion.

The unit is rated to operate at altitudes of up to 5,000 metres under specified conditions.

These protection measures do not eliminate the need to follow the manufacturer's handling, storage and operating instructions.

DJI Home App and UPS Mode Support Backup Power Applications
Users can monitor the power station through the DJI Home app, which provides information about battery status and access to charging settings, including Fast Recharge Mode.

The Power Auro 2000 Elite also offers an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) mode, designed to switch to battery power within approximately 0.01 seconds when the main supply is interrupted.

This function is intended to help maintain power to compatible connected equipment, although users should check whether the transfer time meets the requirements of particularly sensitive devices.

DJI also reports operating noise below 30dB during low-load discharge under its test conditions, which may be useful when operating the power station indoors or overnight.

Fast Charging Available for Compatible DJI Drones
The power station is designed to work with DJI's wider drone ecosystem through its SDC charging connections.

When paired with the DJI Power Fast Charge Cable for Drones, the Auro 2000 Elite can deliver up to 240W SDC fast charging to compatible Intelligent Flight Batteries.

DJI states that the system can recharge a DJI Air 3 Series battery from 10% to 95% in approximately 30 minutes, while a DJI Matrice 4 Series battery can reach the same charge level in approximately 35 minutes.

The charging system also supports selected batteries used with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro and other compatible products.

For professional applications, the power station can connect to a DJI O4 Ground Station through a compatible SDC-to-PoE power cable.

These charging accessories and compatible devices may be sold separately.

DJI Power Auro 2000 Elite Malaysia Price and Availability
The DJI Power Auro 2000 Elite is priced at RM6,509 in Malaysia and has been available since 28 October 2026 through authorised DJI retailers nationwide.

The announcement does not provide separate Malaysian pricing for the upcoming expansion battery or optional charging accessories.
