Willy Wonka’s fantastical world arrives at Jeffrey Cheah Performing Arts Centre in Selangor from 22 December 2026 to 10 January 2027, with tickets available from 24 September. Roald Dahl’s much-loved story is heading to the Malaysian stage for the first time. The Broadway musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will make its Selangor premiere at Jeffrey Cheah Performing Arts Centre, inviting audiences to join Charlie Bucket on his golden-ticket journey into Willy Wonka’s extraordinary factory. Presented by Broadway International Group and Broadway Asia, in association with Sunway South Quay Sdn Bhd, the production will run from 22 December 2026 to 10 January 2027. It welcomes audiences of all ages, including those who discovered the story through Dahl’s novel or its film adaptations.
