Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [20 March 2020]

As of March 20, 2020 at 12.00 pm, 130 new cases have been reported. This brings the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Malaysia to 1,030 cases. According to preliminary investigations, out of the 130 new cases reported today, a total of 48 cases were related to the tabligh assembly cluster at the Jamek Seri Petaling Mosque. 

To date, 26 positive cases of COVID-19 are being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and needing respiratory assistance.

12 cases recovered and discharge from hospital. This resulted in a cumulative total of COVID-19 fully recovered cases a total of 87 cases.
