Qoala Malaysia expands its offerings by launching health insurance, advancing Qoala as a comprehensive insurance and takaful distributor in the country. The health offering complements Qoala’s existing insurance and takaful offerings for motor (car and motorcycle), personal accidents, property, and travel.
Customers can get multiple quotes from Qoala’s insurance partners by simply filling out an application form online with a minimum premium of RM400 per annum. Among the insurance partners are Etiqa Life Insurance Berhad and Tune Protect Group Berhad.
Akash Sharma, Head of Qoala Malaysia said, “The introduction of health insurance comes at an opportune time on the back of Malaysia’s high medical inflation rate. Centred around convenience, transparency, and affordability, we believe this new offering will reshape the perception of health insurance as customers are now empowered to choose a policy they are most comfortable with.”
“Through our comprehensive list of offerings, we are now better geared to protecting customers from having to tap into their savings and retirement funds to cover unexpected expenses. The offering expansion strengthens our role in improving Malaysia’s healthcare and financial well-being” he added.
Qoala’s revamped website will further reinforce its goal of being the country’s largest insurance and takaful marketplace. The website, tailored to make customers’ buying journey more seamless coupled with the expansion of its offerings is expected to contribute 11-fold revenue by year-end, from last year.
