Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [16 June 2020]
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 333 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. This is the highest number of cases discharged reported so far. Cumulatively, 7,733 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (90.92% of total cumulative cases). A total of eleven (11) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,505 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 651 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 11 additional cases reported today, 1 are imported case who were infected overseas. Of the 10 local transmission cases, 6 cases are non-Malaysians, and four (4) cases are among Malaysians. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 54 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. This is the highest number of cases discharged reported so far. Cumulatively, 7,400 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (87.12% of total cumulative cases). A total of forty-one (41) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,494 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 973 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Cumulatively, 7,346 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well (86.9% of total cumulative cases). A total of eight (8) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,453 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 986 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment.
