Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [8 July 2020]
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that five (5) cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,486 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (97.8% of total cumulative cases). A total of three (3) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,677 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 70 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. All three (3) cases reported today are due to imported cases who were infected overseas. Currently, two (2) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs) and 1 patients are on ventilation support. Fortunately, no additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 121 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.39% of total cumulative cases). ...

Cumulatively, 8,481 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (97.77% of total cumulative cases). A total of six (6) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,674 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 72 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the six (6) additional cases reported today, four (4) are imported cases who were infected overseas. The two (2) local transmission cases are amongst Malaysian citizens. Currently, two (2) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICUs) and both patients are on ventilation support.
