The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 47 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 10,014 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (87.2% of total cumulative cases).
A total of 260 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 11,484 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,334 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.
Of the 260 additional cases reported today, one (1) is an imported case who was infected overseas.
Of the 259 local transmission cases reported today, 130 cases are Malaysians and 129 cases are non-Malaysians.
Currently, 20 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with three (3) patients on ventilation support.
No additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there remains 136 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.18% of total cumulative cases).
