Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [31 August 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that six (6) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,054 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (96.9% of total cumulative cases).

A total of six (6) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,340 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 159 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the six (6) additional cases reported today, four (4) are imported cases who were infected overseas, involving two (2) Malaysians and two (2) non-Malaysians, who were travellers from Singapore. All these cases are reported in Selangor.

The two (2) local transmission cases are among Malaysians.

Currently, six (6) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with four (4) patients on ventilation support.

Regretfully, one (1) additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 127 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.36% of total cumulative cases)

Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [30 August 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 10 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,048 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (96.9% of total cumulative cases).

A total of 17 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,334 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 160 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.

Of the 17 additional cases reported today, 15 are imported cases who were infected overseas, involving 11 Malaysians and four (4) non-Malaysians.

The two (2) local transmission cases are among Malaysians. 

Currently, seven (7) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with five (5) patients on ventilation support.

Regretfully, one (1) additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 126 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.35% of total cumulative cases)

Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [29 August 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that eight (8) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,038 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (97.0% of total cumulative cases).

A total of 11 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,317 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 154 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment. 

Of the 11 additional cases reported today, 10 are imported cases who were infected overseas, involving six (6) Malaysians and four (4) non-Malaysians.  

The one (1) local transmission case is a Malaysian, detected in Sarawak from pre-surgery screening in Sarawak General Hospital.

Currently, eight (8) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with six (6) patients on ventilation support.

No additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there remains 125 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.34% of total cumulative cases).

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 36 cases have recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 9,030 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well (97.0% of total cumulative cases).

A total of 10 additional confirmed COVID-19 case were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,306 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 151 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment. 

Of the 10 additional cases reported today, eight (8) are imported cases who were infected overseas, involving one (1) Malaysian and seven (7) non-Malaysians. 

Of the two (2) local transmission cases, one (1) case is a Malaysian and one (1) case is a non-Malaysian. The Malaysian case was detected in Kedah from symptomatic screening. The non-Malaysian case was detected in Selangor from screening of detainees (illegal migrants) at the Semenyih Immigration Detention Centre.

Currently, eight (8) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with six (6) patients on ventilation support.

No additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there remains 125 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.34% of total cumulative cases).
