The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 634 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 14,351 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (64.6% of total cumulative cases).
A total of 862 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are 22,225 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 7,681 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.
Of the 862 cases reported today, two (2) is an imported case who was infected overseas.
Currently, 95 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with 29 patients on ventilation support.
Regretfully, three (3) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 193 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (0.87% of total cumulative cases).
