To accommodate today's demands for productivity, speed and multitasking, the HUAWEI MateBook D 16 features a 16-inch display, the largest in its class. Because of the large display on the HUAWEI MateBook D 16's 12-generation Intel CoreTM H-series processor, users can enjoy improved performance and achieve super-fast productivity. These advantages also include the aesthetics, innovation, and intelligent experiences that have become the hallmarks of various devices in the D series capable of meeting people's multitasking needs.
In addition to the wider screen, the HUAWEI MateBook D 16's display features a 1080p IPS screen with an anti-glare screen protector and a brightness of 300 nits to ensure that the screen is clearly visible even in bright environments. It also supports a 100 percent sRGB color gamut, making it suitable for design needs and applications.
IPS panels are better suited for dynamic content than other types of panels that are more commonly used. With the screen aspect ratio changing to 16:10, users can now view charts, data, and documents in a larger and higher area.
This laptop also inherits the FullView Display design from the MateBook family, which is visible on the 4.6mm ultra-thin bezels on the left and right, allowing it to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of up to 90%. This combination of designs enables the HUAWEI MateBook D 16 to accommodate a larger screen in a compact chassis, thereby providing a broader viewing angle and a more immersive user experience.
Internet access has become essential for every community activity; however, if the internet connection is not optimal, all productivity and entertainment activities can be disrupted. To address the need for a stable internet connection, Huawei introduced Metalline Antenna technology in the HUAWEI MateBook D 16 line for the first time, relying on Huawei's expertise as a networking industry leader for more than 30 years.
This Metalline Antenna technology is based on Metamaterial with a composite structure that allows electromagnetic waves to expand more effectively without changing the frequency of the antenna. This allows network efficiency to increase by up to 56%.
This new antenna structure allows users to enjoy improved internet connection stability and maintain a smooth and stable network even in low-signal conditions. As a result, it provides a more worry-free and smooth network connection experience for gamers and heavy office workers, allowing them to work and play while reducing the risk of video buffering, download interruptions, and lag when playing online games.
On top of that, the HUAWEI MateBook D 16 has a 1080p AI Webcam on the top bezel. A wider field of view is provided by this webcam thanks to its Wide-Angle capability and Wide-Angle support. The FollowCam feature, introduced by Huawei, allows the camera to track its user. In addition, Huawei's latest AI technology will enable users to activate virtual backgrounds according to their preferences, which can be used in various online meeting applications. Both features can also be enabled or disabled via the HUAWEI Control Panel.
The HUAWEI Smart Office makes it possible for the HUAWEI MateBook D 16 and other new laptops from Huawei to communicate with each other smartly. The idea is to make hardware and software work together to create intelligent experiences in which devices can work together through ecosystems and compatible content that flows smoothly between platforms. This will make it easier for people to be creative and communicate with each other, which will help things run more smoothly at work.
Huawei MateBook D 16 is scheduled to make its debut at the upcoming HUAWEI Smart Office APAC Launch on July 27th, 2022.
