Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [5 September 2020]
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 21 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,113 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (97.0% of total cumulative cases). A total of six (6) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,391 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 150 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the six (6) additional cases reported today, four (4) are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving two (2) Malaysians and two (2) non-Malaysians . The two (2) local transmission cases are among Malaysians. Currently, five (5) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with three (3) patients on ventilation support. No additi...

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that nine (9) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,092 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (96.9% of total cumulative cases). A total of 11 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,385 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 165 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 11 additional cases reported today, seven (7) are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving two (2) Malaysians and five (5) non-Malaysians .
