Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [30 April 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 84 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 4,171 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged well ( 69.49% of total cumulative cases ). The number of cases discharged well today is more than double the number of additional cases reported today. A total of 57 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 6,002 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,729 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have been isolated and provided treatment. Currently, 36 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 14 cases are on ventilation support. Regretfully, two (2) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 102 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia ( 1.71% of total cumulative cases

UNIQLO to Launch Gundam Model 40th Anniversary UT Collection

UNIQLO, the Japanese global apparel retailer, today announces the launch of the Gundam Model 40th Anniversary UT collection in May, at all UNIQLO stores in Malaysia and through the uniqlo.com/my online store. This collaboration with UT celebrates the 40th anniversary of the launch of plastic models of figures from the Mobile Suit Gundam series. The models, known as “Gunpla”, a portmanteau of Gundam Plastic Model, are beloved by fans across generations. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 55 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 4,087 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged well ( 68.75% of total cumulative cases ). The number of cases discharged well today is more than double the number of additional cases reported today. A total of 94 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 5,945 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,758 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have been isolated and provided treatment. Currently, 40 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 18 cases are on ventilation support. No (0) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are 100 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia ( 1.68% of total cumulative cases) .

Cumulatively there are now 5,851 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,719 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have been isolated and provided treatment. Currently, 36 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 17 cases are on ventilation support. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 95 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 3,957 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged well ( 67.99% of total cumulative cases ). The number of cases discharged well today is more than double the number of additional cases reported today. A total of 40 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 5,820 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,764 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have been isolated and provided treatment. Currently, 37 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 17 cases are on ventilation support. Regretfully, one (1) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 99 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia ( 1.70% of total cumulative cases) .
