Samsung Introduces AI-Powered Laundry Lineup with Top-Tier Energy Efficiency

The new WW7000T washer brings together Samsung’s most powerful AI technologies while providing users with a personalized laundry experience.



Samsung Malaysia Electronics is thrilled to reveal its newest addition to their laundry line-up, the new WW7000T washer. The new WW7000T washer brings together Samsung’s most powerful technologies that cut down on wash times and energy consumption while providing users with a personalized laundry experience.

“The new front-load washing machine hosts a suite of smart features powered by artificial intelligence and IoT, which allows customers to personalize their laundry experience,” said Edward Han, President of Samsung Malaysia Electronics. “Our consumers all have different lifestyles and different wardrobes, and it makes sense that their laundry processes should be just as diverse. By bringing our AI and IoT to laundry, we have made washing and drying more intuitive, customized, and convenient.”



Intelligent Laundry
Adding to Samsung’s reliable performance is artificial intelligence, which learns users’ behavioral patterns to recommend cycles and offer a truly personalized laundry experience. With AI Control, the new Samsung washer familiarizes itself with user preferences and combines that knowledge with big data to provide the industry’s first automatic suggestion of wash cycles on its display. Paired with a simple user interface, AI Control eliminates the need for users to scroll through cycles to find the right one, or to input their individualized settings each time.



In other words, it personalizes washing by remembering your cycle preferences to suggest cycles and displays timely information like the cycle status to keep you updated. A SmartThings App provides advice on the best cycles, your daily planning and troubleshooting problems.

Energy Efficiency and Time Saving
Samsung’s revolutionary QuickDrive™ technology allows the WW7000T to cut washing time by up to 50%, and energy usage by 20% [1]. The independently moving drum and backplate in the WW7000T allows for more dynamic actions, cleaning garments more thoroughly in less time. Samsung’s Digital Inverter Compressor adds to energy efficiency by utilizing strong magnets for quieter and stronger performance, while using less energy compared to a universal motor.



The new washers also come with Samsung’s EcoBubble™ technology that maximizes the effect of detergent by turning it into soft bubbles – allowing for faster penetration into fabrics, even in cold water. Colder washes save heating energy, while also protecting the fabrics and colors of garments.

Hygiene Steam
Steam away dirt, bacteria and allergens. The Hygiene Steam cycle has been engineered to improve the cleaning quality of your wash without the need for any time-consuming pre-treatments. Unlike other washers that emit steam from above, the WW7000T releases steam from the bottom of its drum so every item in the load is thoroughly saturated as the steam rises. This loosens ingrained grime and removes 99.9% of bacteria [2] and inactive allergens [3] to ensure even deeper cleaning.
