Kuching Is Back on Top for Budget Travel in 2025
Good news for Malaysian travellers on a budget, Kuching has reclaimed its spot as Malaysia’s most affordable summer destination, according to Agoda’s latest ranking. With an average nightly room rate of RM227.64, the Sarawak capital is back in the spotlight for chill, budget friendly vacations.
Agoda's June to August 2025 summer data puts Kuching at number six in a regional list of Asia's cheapest getaways, beating out hotspots like Nagoya and Daejeon.
