Revolutionary air conditioning technology delivers smarter cooling,
cleaner air, and superior energy efficiency for Malaysia's climate.
LG brings advanced AI-powered cooling and energy-saving innovation to Malaysian homes with the launch of LG DualCool AI Air.
LG Electronics Malaysia has recently launched LG DualCool AI Air, introducing cutting-edge artificial intelligence to residential air conditioning across the country. First unveiled at LG Innofest AIR 2025 in Busan, South Korea, this innovative system delivers intelligent cooling solutions which are well-accommodated for Malaysia’s tropical climate and energy-conscious consumers.
The launch came at an opportune time as Malaysia faces rising temperatures, growing awareness of energy conservation, and increasing electricity costs, positioning LG DualCool AI Air as the ideal solution for modern Malaysian homes seeking smarter, more sustainable comfort. This strategic move reinforces Malaysia’s position as a key market for LG’s home technology innovations, with LG DualCool AI Air representing the company’s commitment to addressing local climate and financial challenges through advanced AI-driven solutions.
“Malaysia continues to be an important market for LG’s innovation in home technology. With LG DualCool AI Air, we are providing Malaysian consumers with unprecedented control over their home comfort while delivering smarter energy management and features designed specifically for their everyday needs,” said Mr. Jaeseung Kim, Regional CEO of LG Electronics Asia Pacific.
LG DualCool AI Air features innovative functions such as AI Soft Air Mode, Dual Vane system, and AirCare Complete System™ delivering smarter cooling, healthier air, and energy-efficient comfort.
LG Innofest AIR 2025 served as a platform for LG to outline its future-facing strategy for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) division. The launch of LG DualCool AI Air in Malaysia demonstrates how these strategic strengths translate into real-world solutions, offering homes a more intelligent and energy-conscious approach to cooling.
Kim outlined LG’s three-pillar strategy for the Asia Pacific region: technological leadership through AI-driven energy-saving features and ultra-precise inverter systems, deep market expertise developed through understanding regional climates and consumer behaviour, and customer-centric innovation that combines global R&D with local insights.
LG DualCool AI Air transforms home cooling through intelligent features that adapt to users’ needs in real-time. The AI Soft Air Mode eliminates harsh cold drafts by gently circulating air from ceiling to floor, while the Dual Vane system delivers 23% faster cooling with airflow reaching up to 22 metres. The system’s AirCare Complete System™ features multi-stage filtration and Plasmaster™ Ionizer+ technology, eliminating 99.9% of airborne bacteria for healthier indoor air quality.
For Malaysia’s humid tropical climate, the Comfort Humidity Control automatically adjusts moisture levels while maintaining desired temperatures. The integrated kW Manager and Window Open Detection help users track and optimise energy consumption through the LG ThinQ™ app, supporting both cost savings and environmental responsibility.
“This is just the beginning of our commitment to Malaysian homes,” said Kim.
“We will
continue to develop and introduce innovative products that are not only smart,
but also sustainable and seamlessly integrated into the lives of our customers.
Our vision is to be a Smart Life Solution Company that doesn’t just respond to
your needs, but anticipates them while caring for the environment we all
share.”
