Unite to Honour Malaysia’s Heroes This Merdeka – Majlis Kolaborasi Strategik MASKAB | OPPO
In a heartfelt tribute to Malaysia’s unsung heroes this Merdeka season, OPPO Malaysia has fulfilled its pledge of RM100,000 to Majlis Sukan, Kebajikan dan Kebudayaan, Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (MASKAB). The initiative, announced earlier this year alongside the launch of the OPPO A5 Pro, aimed to raise funds for Malaysia’s firefighting frontlines, with RM1 pledged for every unit sold. Today, OPPO Malaysia proudly presented the mock cheque to MASKAB during the Majlis Kolaborasi Strategik MASKAB | OPPO, at the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia Headquarters, Putrajaya. This ceremony marked the culmination of a campaign that turned each purchase of the OPPO A5 Pro into a symbol of gratitude and support for the nation’s first responders.
“We are truly delighted to see our partnership with MASKAB reach this meaningful milestone, made possible by the incredible support of our customers who joined us in this journey,” said Monica Qin, Marketing Director of OPPO Malaysia. “We hope this contribution will bring meaningful support to MASKAB and serve as a token of appreciation for the dedication of Malaysia’s firefighting heroes.”
Following
the mock cheque presentation ceremony, guests and members of the media had the
opportunity to connect with MASKAB representatives and the firefighting team in
a casual setting. Lunch was provided, allowing attendees to enjoy refreshments
while engaging in conversations and sharing moments of connection in
celebration of the Merdeka spirit.

Adding
to the festive atmosphere were the OPPO Ofans, members of the OPPO Fans
community, who attended the event. Their presence underscored the close relationship
between OPPO and its loyal customers, many of whom proudly participated in
honouring Malaysia’s national heroes.

The

firefighters, captured through the Reno 14 Series. The calendar will be
available exclusively on the My OPPO App starting this September, redeemable by
OPPO members using membership points. This special edition calendar merges the
spirit of Merdeka with the bravery of the nation’s heroes, offering fans a
keepsake that blends photography, patriotism, and gratitude.
“Semangat
Kebangsaan Bersama OPPO” Campaign
To
make this Merdeka season even more special, OPPO Malaysia has been running the “Semangat
Kebangsaan Bersama OPPO” campaign since 15 August 2025, which will continue
until 16 September 2025. This month-long campaign offers exciting deals and exclusive rewards, with a total of RM6.8 million in rebates available, adding to the nation’s festive spirit.

With just weeks remaining, Malaysians are encouraged to grab the deals before the campaign ends.
