Zurich Critical Illness Now Available on Shopee and ShopeePay Apps, Expanding Access to Health Protection for More Malaysians

As financial resilience becomes an increasingly integral part of everyday life, more Malaysians are seeking ways to strengthen their long-term financial wellbeing and better prepare for unforeseen circumstances. With six in 10 Malaysians reporting less than RM1,000 in emergency savings, there is a growing need for insurance protection that is simple to access, especially against unexpected circumstances such as health challenges.

To address this, Zurich Critical Illness Insurance, underwritten by Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad and distributed by MoneeInsure Agency Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (MoneeInsure), is now available for purchase on both Shopee and ShopeePay apps, offering Malaysians easier access to critical illness protection through platforms they already frequently use.

Available in Basic and Comprehensive plans with coverage of up to RM300,000, Zurich Critical Illness Insurance protects against up to 14 critical and early-stage illnesses, including cancer, heart attack, stroke, and kidney failure. Starting this month, MoneeInsure is running a campaign* which offers eligible Malaysians the first month free when purchasing the Basic plan, making it easier for Malaysians to get started with their coverage.

Both plans are available to Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above, offering a range of coverage options to suit different protection needs.

Users can purchase the plans via the ShopeePay app by selecting “Insurance” on the homepage, followed by “Health”. Alternatively, on the Shopee app, users can navigate to the “Me” page, select “Insurance” under the Financial Services section, and choose “Health”.
