Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [4 April 2020]

A total of 150 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 3,483 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.  Currently, 99 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 50 cases are on ventilation support.Regretfully, four (4) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 57 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.64 % of total cumulative cases). 88 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 915 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well (26.27 % of total cumulative cases).

A total of 217 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 3,333 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.  Currently, 108 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 54 cases are on ventilation support.Regretfully, three (3) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 53 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.59 % of total cumulative cases). 60 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 827 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well (24.81% of total cumulative cases).

A total of 208 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 3,116 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.  Currently, 105 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 54 cases are on ventilation support.Regretfully, five (5) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 50 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.6% of total cumulative cases). 122 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 767 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well (24.6% of total cumulative cases).

Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [1 April 2020]

A total of 142 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 2,908 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.  Currently, 102 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 66 cases are on ventilation support.Regretfully, two (2) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 45 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.55% of total cumulative cases). 108 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 645 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well (22.2% of total cumulative cases).

Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [31 March 2020]

A total of 140 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 2,766 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.  Currently, 94 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 60 cases are on ventilation support. 

Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [30 March 2020]

A total of 156 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 2,626 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.  Currently, 94 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 62 cases are on ventilation support.  Regretfully, three (3) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH. This included the one (1) death reported in the Director General of Health Facebook page last night. Cumulatively, there are now 37 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.4% of total cumulative cases.  A total of 91 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today, the largest number discharged in a 24-hour period. Cumulatively, 479 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well (18.2% of total cumulative cases).

Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [29 March 2020]

A total of 150 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 2,470 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia.  Currently, 73 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in intensive care units (ICU), and of these, 52 cases are on ventilation support. Regretfully, seven (7) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 34 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia. 68 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 388 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged well.

Current statistics of COVID-19 in Malaysia [28 March 2020]

A total of 159 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 2,320 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Regretfully, one (1) additional COVID-19 death were reported to the National CPRC MOH. Cumulatively, there are now 27 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia. As of today, 61 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 320 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered and discharged.  

Surviving COVID-19: ALIFE Proposes Recovery Measures

As Live Events, Concerts and Festivals incurred an estimated loss of RM300 million over the first half of 2020.  Rizal Kamal, President of ALIFE ARTS, LIVE FESTIVALS AND EVENTS ASSOCIATION (ALIFE) applauds the government’s affirmative decision to enforce and subsequently extend the Movement Control Order on Malaysians to combat the rise of COVID-19 pandemic in the country. ALIFE has earlier urged all its members to cancel or postpone all events till June 2020. Any activities from June onwards will also be subject to the government’s lift on the ban of mass gatherings. “Our industry is among the hardest hit by Covid-19. Many events were cancelled or postponed as early as January and we won’t be able to resume activities for many months more. The process of planning of events, booking artist and venues are done months in advance.
