Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [10 September 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 24 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,167 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (95.2% of total cumulative cases). A total of 45 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,628 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 333 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 45 additional cases reported today, only one (1) is an imported case. Of the 44 local transmission cases reported today, 11 cases are among Malaysians and 33 cases are among non-Malaysians . Currently, nine (9) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with five (5) patients on ventilation support . ‘Pengantin Satu Malam’ Is A Success On iQIYI

The highly anticipated novel adaptation, ‘Pengantin Satu Malam’ that aired on TV3’s Akasia slot on 18 August, has received multi-million views on the market-leading online entertainment service, iQIYI. Cumulatively, 9,143 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (95.4% of total cumulative cases). A total of 24 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,583 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 312 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 24 additional cases reported today, six (6) are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving three (3) Malaysians and three (3) non-Malaysians . The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 12 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,136 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (95.6% of total cumulative cases). A total of 100 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,559 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 295 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 100 additional cases reported today, 15 are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving two (2) Malaysians and 13 non-Malaysians .
