Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [16 September 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 26 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,235 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (92.1% of total cumulative cases). A total of 62 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 10,031 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 668 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 62 additional cases reported today, only one (1) is an imported case who was infected overseas , a Malaysian returning from India. Of the 61 local transmission cases reported today, 41 cases are among Malaysians and 20 cases are among non-Malaysians .   Currently, 15 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with three (3) patients on ventilation support .   No additional...

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that six (6) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,209 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (92.4% of total cumulative cases). A total of 23 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,969 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 632 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 23 additional cases reported today, 10 are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving five (5) Malaysians and five (5) non-Malaysians. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that seven (7) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,203 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (92.5% of total cumulative cases). A total of 31 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,946 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 615 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. A total of 182 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. A total of 45 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today.
