Signature Market: It takes one day for most Malaysians to forgive

Advocates gratitude journaling for more positive state of mind A survey carried out by homegrown direct-to-consumer (D2C) lifestyle brand Signature Market revealed that 44.3 percent of Malaysians will take about a day to forgive someone who has wronged them. Apart from that 32.2 percent of Malaysians will take one hour or less to forgive. The survey carried out online among 4,562 respondents from all over Malaysia also revealed that 10.4 percent of Malaysians will never forgive the person who has wronged them unless they receive an apology. On the other hand, 6.9 percent takes about a week to forgive and 6.2 percent more than a week. The survey also revealed a correlation between positive mental health practices and the rate of forgiveness. AirAsia X shareholders approve corporate restructuring plan

AirAsia X Berhad (AAX or the Company) has received approval from its shareholders for the proposed corporate restructuring to progress as planned, following the voting process at the AAX Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) yesterday. The approval marks a major milestone in the corporate restructuring process. All resolutions were passed with at least a 99.8 percent margin. These approvals have been obtained simultaneously with final negotiations being held with creditors. The Company and its restructuring advisers, New York based Seabury Capital have been in active and productive discussions with lessors and other creditors after the approval granted by the court to convene the Court Convened Meeting (CCM). This is currently scheduled for late July or August. AAX is committed to resuming commercial operations as soon as possible on a successful completion of the restructuring plan and the opening of international borders.

Apologies for no-shows: one in five employees have missed a call by pretending devices are updating

21% of employees confirmed that they have pretended their devices were installing updates so they would not have to attend a call or meeting. This excuse is plausible because software updates can disrupt workdays, with one-third (35%) of employees saying they have been late to a call because of updates. These are the findings of a recent study commissioned by Kaspersky to explore workers’ attitudes and habits toward updates. Frequent meetings are often seen as one of the most unpleasant things in the office routine.
