COVID breakout trend: Monthly average of 2,000 bicycles sold on Carousell since November 2020

Almost 18,000 bicycles were sold on Carousell in Malaysia in 2020, with this trend continuing in 2021

Sales of bicycles on Carousell, one of the world’s largest and leading marketplaces, have been increasing since the fourth quarter of 2020, with the trend sustaining in the first two months of 2021. A total of 63,345 transactions were made in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. Malaysia is the second top market on Carousell with almost 18,000 bicycles sold in 2020.

As the COVID-19 pandemic spread across the globe in 2020, demand for fitness items started to spike in March 2020, and hit a new peak in August 2020. Demand for bicycles followed suit and also broke out as the new trend regionally. Average monthly transactions also grew by about 44% in the second half of 2020 compared to the first half, with an average of over 6,000 sold each month. The trend continues to show promising growth for users intending to list unused bicycles or merchants wanting to ride on this trend. Malaysia has been holding steady at over 2,000 transactions a month since November 2020.

Total searches for bicycles in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore increased by 1.6 times to 18.5 million in 2020. Demand is still growing regionally, with an average of 1.6 million searches for bicycles each month in 2021. Malaysia makes over 160,000 searches a month, whereas Singapore sees the most interest at over 1 million searches. This echoes overall search trends in Malaysia, where Google reported a 250% increase in searches for the term “bicycle exercise” in their ‘Year In Search 2020: Malaysia’ report. The most popular bicycle type in Malaysia is the road bike, similar to Hong Kong. Mountain bicycles are second most popular in Malaysia, similar to Singapore. American brand Specialized is most popular in Malaysia, while Singapore prefers British brand Brompton and Hong Kong prefers American brand Dahon.

Secondhand is strongly the preferred choice across the region with 70.29% of transactions. Malaysia exceed the trend and tops regionally with 76.04% of transactions being secondhand,

while Hong Kong is second with 72.46% and Singapore is the exception with 34.34%. With the strong demand for bicycles, prices have been competitive for secondhand bicycles on Carousell. For instance, this year’s model of road bike Giant TCR Advanced 1 Disc KOM retails for RM13,499, but can be found on Carousell for RM9,998.

Tang Siew Wai, Country Head, Carousell Malaysia, said, “As a classifieds marketplace platform, the availability of listings are contributed by our users. Comparing how the transactions for bicycles have been steadily increasing on Carousell with the rapid growth in searches, we can see that demand currently exceeds supply. This means that there is still growth potential for casual users and business sellers to come to Carousell to sell their bicycles to the ready pool of buyers and earn some extra income.”

MyPentas the +flix of Performing Arts: Malaysia’s First and Only OTT stage to Showcase Malaysian Music, Comedy, Dance, and Theatre

  • Call for local artists to contribute and co-create content, setting the stage for digitally-powered economic recovery in the performing arts industry
  • Malaysian-developed digital platform to promote best of Malaysia to the world

MyPentas, Malaysia and the ASEAN region’s performing arts-focused over-the-top (OTT) video streaming platform officially launches, providing digital audiences and fans across multiple performing arts genre a “culture and creative fix” unlike any other. As Southeast Asia’s first and likely the world’s pioneering digital experience of its kind, MyPentas aims to be the “+flix” for the arts scene spanning music, comedy, dance and theatre. Heading the clarion call for creative industries hard-pressed to reinvent themselves online and offline, the platform uniquely caters to artistes, content creators and fans in a borderless new world.

Conceptualised and built by Twenty30 Digital Sdn Bhd, MyPentas reflects the company’s purpose-based, borderless and sustainable approach to digitalisation.

Explains Chief Digital Officer, Muralee Pillay, “The importance of the performing arts is not lost on us, its role in shaping Malaysia’s social fabric and defining our national brand at an international level is undeniable. What is clear is that lockdowns and social distancing has come at a great price for both artists and audiences - affecting livelihoods, limiting creative expressions and to an extent, the general state of wellbeing that we have come to experience in engaging with like-minded enthusiasts.

“Digitalising the performing arts scene allows us to bring our technical expertise to the talents, at a time when it means a “make-or-break” for many who have trained and honed their skills through years of training, hard work - building a reputation and reach among fans. MyPentas also uniquely caters to the younger generation and digital natives. This includes up and coming talents whose journey in the industry is likely disrupted, and without the support or following typical of more seasoned talents, they may choose to deprioritise their creative endeavours. This will be a great loss to what is fundamentally the soul of a nation.”

Alongside Malaysia’s aspirations of Shared Prosperity, MyPentas’ remit is clear - to be a streaming platform like no other and a socioeconomically inclusive one. The platform leverages the best digital tools, creating differentiated campaigns and implementing a seamless, accessible viewing experience with on-demand content. MyPentas taps into rapidly evolving trends in entertainment content generation and consumption. For artists, the platform’s revenue-sharing monetisation model guarantees Malaysian artists a sustainable, long term revenue stream for new (original) content and an opportunity to showcase classics and evergreen productions.

Providing artists with a necessary economic lifeline, MyPentas additionally propels Malaysian talents beyond the country’s borders and empowers brand owners with a new avenue for marketing and nation-building as part of their corporate sustainable development agenda.

At its launch, MyPentas offers more than 35 on-demand, multi-lingual video content from award-winning Malaysian artists and industry pioneers including popular actress and singer-songwriter, Daiyan Trisha, renowned comedian, Andrew Netto and Malaysian Odissi dancer, January Low, expanding rapidly with more exciting content in the works.

“For the past 6 months, the team behind MyPentas has been doing the technical heavy-lifting, and collaborating across the industry in efforts to bring the best of Malaysian talents onto our platform. With the headstart, we are confident of creating some 300 videos within the next six months and hitting the milestone 500,000 users. Essentially, MyPentas is an opportunity for Malaysians to support the local arts scene, curate our cultural history, create world class creative content and protect the intellectual property of our talents,” adds Muralee.

MyPentas is calling out all local performers from any genres - music, dance, theatre and comedy to be in touch with the Twenty30 Digital team at contact@mypentas.com for collaboration opportunities.

Don’t Know What Goes into the Fridge and What Doesn’t? We’ve Got You Covered!

Many of us prefer to cook at home nowadays as it healthier and more cost-efficient. Buying our own groceries and cooking at home also give us a certain sense of satisfaction and achievement. Another plus side is that we can decide on the meals according to our own taste and preferences -- the best of both worlds when it comes to making the food that we love!

But there is one tricky part to all of these, especially for those of us who just started cooking “full-time” – sometimes we may not be aware of certain kitchen practices or food storage fundamentals. Some of us get confused as to which ingredient should and should not be kept inside the refrigerator. Ingredients are an important aspect to cooking and fresh ingredients are key to our health. But apart from ingredients, our refrigerators also play a crucial role in keeping us healthy.

A reliable refrigerator helps keep ingredients as fresh as the day you bought them. It is one of the greatest inventions of all time – where else can we store our leftover Maggie Goreng Pedas without it going bad? Trust us, if you were stuck on a deserted island, you will miss your refrigerator the most. Nothing replaces the pleasure of drinking an ice-cold beverage at a whim. More importantly, it provides us a safe and convenient space to store and preserve our leftovers. An example would be the LG InstaView Refrigerator that possesses state-of-the-art features to ensure food items are kept fresh at all times.

So, what food ingredients should go into the fridge and what stays out? Not to worry, we’ve prepared a list of common food items that every household would have in their kitchen -- and whether or not they belong in the fridge.

Things that should be refrigerated
This is a common struggle for every household, especially when you have a big family. So, what are some of the things that definitely belong in the fridge?

Cut Watermelon
With the hot and humid environment that Malaysians live in, watermelon is a great refresher on a hot, sunny day. However, watermelons, once cut, are prone to rapid growth of bacteria and germs. Cut watermelons should be refrigerated to prevent the reproduction of germs and bacteria. We don’t want to be eating a cut watermelon or any type of food that’s filled with bacteria now, do we?

To keep your freshly cut watermelons from bacteria and for them to stay fresh longer, you need a reliable refrigerator such as the LG InstaView Refrigerator. The LG InstaView Refrigerator’s Hygiene FRESH+TM feature can not only remove bacteria up to 99.999%, but also minimise bad odour in the refrigerator, keeping your cut watermelons fresher in a cleaner condition. Away with bacteria from your fresh and delicious cut watermelons!

Fresh Meat
This goes without saying that fresh meat, unless it will be cooked immediately, should be refrigerated. Fresh meat carries bacteria, which would multiple rapidly if not refrigerated and would lead to the spoiling of the meat. Keeping meat at a cold temperature would prevent bacterial growth, ensuring that it stays fresh and more importantly, safe to consume.

To keep bacteria from growing and fresh meat safe, the LG InstaView Refrigerator can help you with that. It comes with the Inverter Linear Compressor feature that maintains optimal temperature control to keep foods fresher and longer. Steak dinners will now taste even better with a capable fridge that does the job of making sure your fresh meat is kept at the optimal temperature.

Now that you know some of the things that should be refrigerated, how about things that you should not keep refrigerated?

Things that shouldn’t be refrigerated
There’s a common misconception that when we put food items in the refrigerator, they would remain fresh and last for a longer period of time. However, that is actually untrue. Some ingredients, if refrigerated, may go bad or even lose their flavours.

Onions
Onions should never be refrigerated; when onions are chilled, the cold, humid temperatures in a refrigerator converts the starch to sugars, making it soft or soggy. This will make onions go bad and reduce their shelf life significantly. Instead, onions should always be kept in cool, dry, ventilated, and shaded area as they need air to breathe. Also, be sure to keep the onions separated from potatoes as potatoes can excrete moisture that speed up an onion’s decomposition. Bet you didn’t know that, did you? As for cooked onions, like all cooked leftovers, it needs to be refrigerated and will last up to three days in the fridge.

Potatoes
Lovers of Kari Ayam will definitely have this in their home. Potatoes are common household staple food item, but many do not know that they should not be refrigerated. Keeping a potato in cold temperature of your refrigerator will turn its starch into sugar more quickly and you’ll be left with a sweet, gritty potato. Ideally, potatoes should be kept in dark, cool places such as the inside of a pantry. There’s nothing wrong with having sweet potatoes but not when they are in your Kari Ayam!

Besides knowing what belongs in the refrigerator and what doesn’t, a good quality refrigerator is also important to leading a healthy lifestyle, ensuring the food items stay fresh and keeping your family healthy. LG InstaView Refrigerator is also equipped with the FRESHBalancer™ feature, which keeps your fruits and vegetables in an optimal condition respectively by adjusting the right amount of humidity. With just a simple switch, your fruits and vegetables will taste fresh as the day you bought them!

Can you imagine a life without refrigerator? We sure can’t! It is one of the best product innovations and it is a lifesaver when it comes to midnight snack sessions. Fun fact: the LG InstaView Refrigerator comes with the “Knock-knock” feature that allows you to see what’s inside the fridge without opening it. With two quick knocks on the front glass panel, it will illuminate and show what’s inside. Talk about convenience! Plus, being able to see inside the easy access compartment without having to open the refrigerator door reduces cold air loss to help keep food fresher longer. Energy efficient and convenient!

Now that you know what food items can go into the fridge and what shouldn’t, you are on your way to a much healthier lifestyle. It is especially important now to keep you and your family healthy. Having fresh food items and retaining their nutrients as much as possible can help improve the health and wellbeing of you and your family.

REVIEW: Got my favourite with foodpanda

MCO is still around, working from home is now on a rotational basis but one thing still remains which is craving for food regardless wherever and whenever. I love delivery service and have been using it even when fast food started their own delivery service. It's efficient and no hassle. I know some of you have been having the problem that some delivery service charges can empty your pocket everytime, but there’s a trick to that!

First thing first it has to be foodpanda, because foodpanda has more variety of food choices that you can choose from including a stall across the road that you used to get for a quick meal to your favourite restaurant you always had to end your week after a long day at work.

The trick is that, to always be on the lookout for discounts or special offers and foodpanda has it all every single day. So, always check the foodpanda app or enable notifications so you don't miss it.

My haul this time with foodpanda is 3 Budak Gemok, the famous braised soy sauce chicken and out of the world homemade sambal. This is not the first time I’ve ordered this but definitely my first time sharing the food here.

With foodpanda, it took exactly 25minutes to get it delivered to my door which is very convenient, it was nicely packed and still hot by the time it got to my hands. 3 Budak Gemok is definitely my go to food when I’m craving for that spicy sambal with chicken and what 3 Budak Gemok offered was more than that because of the braised soy sauce chicken.

Highly recommended to have your delicious meal with 3 Budak Gemok using the foodpanda app that comes with daily discounts and offers. Get your meal via the foodpanda app today and receive 30% discount on selected restaurants including 3 Budak Gemok.

Unboxing the Galaxy A52: Awesome Unpacked

Producing an awesome smartphone at an affordable price is crucial for smartphone manufacturers. Although there is always demand for a high-end smartphone with a higher price, there is also greater demand for an affordable smartphone with awesome specifications. It is important now than before to make the smartphone more accessible to the public. On top of the interface and specification, pricing has always been the crucial breaking point when purchasing a smartphone.

Earlier in March 2021, to make Galaxy innovations more accessible to the public, Samsung has released Samsung Galaxy A52, and Galaxy A72 during the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked virtual launch. Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics, said that the Galaxy A52 and A72 encapsulate the Galaxy brand philosophy with cutting-edge innovations, services, and features at an accessible price. Both phones are the new range in the Samsung Galaxy A Series, and we have been given the honor to do the unboxing of the Galaxy A52.

There are four color options for Galaxy A52: Awesome Violet, Awesome Black, Awesome White, and the one that we had on our today, Awesome Blue. Unlike its Galaxy S series that recently launched, Galaxy A52 came with a normal size box that we normally get when purchasing smartphones.

One of the most obvious differences we can feel when holding this device is the device's weight. Unlike the other smartphone that our team currently has, the Galaxy A52 turns out to feel lighter, yet it feels so compact and extremely comfortable in hand. To compare how light it is, Galaxy A52 weighs 189 grams, while Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra at 227 grams and iPhone 11 Pro Max at 226 grams.

On top of the device itself, the standard box contents include a SIM ejector pin, a 15W charger (supports fast charging), USB-A to USB-C, and not forgetting the quick start guide warranty card.

There is, however, no basic silicone case and also earphones bundled in the box. But if you purchase either Galaxy A52 or A72, or both now, you will get a free Clear Standing Cover worth RM109. As the earphone alternative, you may try out their Galaxy Buds Pro that is packed with massive features that we love so much and read our review here.

As for the build itself, Galaxy A52 is equipped with a 6.5 inch AMOLED screen layered with Gorilla Glass 5 for its front and plastic for its back. The AMOLED is offering FHD resolution along with a 90Hz refresh rate. On the right side of the device are the power button and the volume rocker. The SIM tray is located at the top of the device, for the bottom holds the USB-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack, and the speaker.

The front camera is packed with a 32 MP selfie camera and 64 MP for the main camera with an Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) for a clear, crisp, and awesome photo throughout day and night. The main camera comes with a quad-camera setup and a flash. Another feature that we love the most about Galaxy A52 is that with such an affordable price tag, you will be able to shoot 4K videos at 30 fps, and on top of that, you will also get a super steady mode to make your videos look smoother and stable.

Samsung Galaxy A52 comes with an SM7125 Snapdragon 720G chipset and runs on Android 11 and One UI 3.1. Thanks to its Octa-core processor and up to 8 GB of RAM, you will be able to run multiple tasks on your device. As for the storage, Galaxy A52 comes with 256 GB internal storage; you can store more to 33,000 photos with an average file size of 6.6 MB. Not enough? Well, don't worry because you can always upgrade your storage up to 1 Terabyte (TB) with a microSD card.

For those who spend most of their time playing games or browsing social media, you are no longer need to worry about having not enough juice as Galaxy A52 is powered with a 4,500 mAH battery that will give you more time to do what you love on your device. Running out of battery? Spend less time charging it as you can utilize its Super Fast Charging feature using the power adapter that comes with the box.

We know you would love to learn more about the awesome features of the Galaxy A52, such as its performance and camera quality. In the next few days, we will be using the device and sharing our in-depth review of the device soon. Stay tuned!

Program Mentor Wanita Cukup Berani 2021 MAGGI® Returns with A Brand-New Masterclass to Empower and Inspire More Women

  • Program Mentor Wanita Cukup Berani 2021 MAGGI® is back bigger, bolder and better as it rolls out a new and enhanced journey, in response to the challenges faced by women amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Participants of the Bengkel Online Wanita Cukup Berani MAGGI® will have the opportunity to attend the all-new exclusive Masterclass: How To Run A Food Business conducted by entrepreneur Anne Idris & Chef Muluk, providing an in-depth guidance on how to kick start or improve an existing food business.
  • Program Mentor Wanita Cukup Berani 2021 MAGGI® retains its mentorship journey for potential candidates to receive seed capital from MAGGI® Malaysia.

In conjunction with the International Women’s Day 2021, MAGGI® celebrates the tenacity of Malaysian women by launching the second phase of the Program Mentor Wanita Cukup Berani MAGGI®. The programme follows on the trailblazing success of its 2020 predecessor that was participated by more than 900 women, with the aim to upskill women and build their self-confidence to try something new – be it in cooking, in life or in business.

According to a study by Unicef and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) titled “Families on the Edge” (August 2020) [1], Malaysian households headed by women such as widows or single mothers are particularly vulnerable, with a 32 per cent unemployment rate compared to others. Understanding these circumstances, MAGGI® took on pro-active measures to assess the changing and critical needs of women amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and also gathered feedback provided from participants who attended the Bengkel Online Wanita Cukup Berani MAGGI® last year.

Based on this, MAGGI® will be introducing a brand-new “Masterclass: How To Run A Food Business” module for those who are keen to kick start or improve on their existing food business. Led by entrepreneur and mentor of the Program Mentor Wanita Cukup Berani 2021 MAGGI®, Anne Idris, as well as MAGGI®’s in-house Chef, Chef Muluk, the Masterclass is an exclusive session tailor made to provide in-depth guidance and best practices to develop or enhance cooking skills and entrepreneurship capabilities for existing and aspiring food business owners. Potential candidates will then have the opportunity to be part of a one-of-a-kind mentorship programme, pitch their business ideas and eventually receive seed capital from MAGGI® Malaysia to realise their business dream.

Geetha Balakrishna
According to Geetha Balakrishna, Business Executive Officer of MAGGI®, Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad, “The Program Mentor Wanita Cukup Berani MAGGI® began as an aspiration to empower and inspire Malaysian women to gain the self-confidence to try something new, so that they can make a positive difference for herself and her family by equipping them with the necessary skills. The immense positive response and stories we received in 2020 inspired and encouraged us to magnify the impact of this journey. We harnessed this motivation into action, by extending the workshop, adding new relevant content and a Masterclass module this year. It is our passion and commitment to continue building on our efforts to impact even more women and address their wider needs for growth as we want all participants in this programme to be emboldened not only in the kitchen, but in business as well.”

MAGGI® expanded the content of its 3-day workshops this year which will now feature an enhanced digital syllabus led by a Google Certified Trainer, to impart practical knowledge utilising digital tools and social media presence to improve businesses. Participants can also look forward to more interactive opportunities with their favourite mentors, Datin Paduka Eina Azman, Sheila Rusly and Anne Idris.

This year’s 3-day Bengkel Online Wanita Cukup Berani MAGGI® workshop will be held from 6 to 8 April, followed by the second workshop from 13 to 15 July and the final workshop from 12 to 14 October. Nutanix Announces New Partner Support Centre In Kuala Lumpur

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the regional hub is part of the company’s commitment to greater investment in Malaysia and Asia, and partner success in the region

Avinash Gowda
Nutanix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTNX), a leader in private cloud, hybrid, and multicloud computing, today announced it is opening a new APAC Partner Support Centre (PSC) in Kuala Lumpur.

The PSC will help Nutanix achieve one of its key goals — namely, driving more services sales via partners and enabling the channel to move more swiftly to an ‘Everything-as-a-Service’ (EaaS) model including Nutanix’ full portfolio of products. EaaS is gaining in popularity due to the economic advantages it offers, helping organizations achieve specific IT outcomes faster so they can focus more time and money on their business.

“Strategic partnerships have always been one of the cornerstones of our success. As the channel evolves toward an ‘Everything-as-a-Service’ future, Nutanix is committed to supporting partners and building mutually beneficial relationships that help their businesses thrive. With our new Partner Support Centre in APAC, Nutanix is doubling-down on its commitment to partners in the region,” said Jacob Pereira, senior director of Channel, APJ, Nutanix.

The PSC will offer multilingual support to Nutanix’ partners in countries across APAC. It will initially be staffed by team members working remotely, with a view to transitioning to Nutanix’ local office in Kuala Lumpur when it is reopened following the pandemic. Staff will provide partners support in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, with additional Asian languages to be added in the future.

Muhammad Azmi Zulkifli
Nutanix Malaysia Country Manager Avinash Gowda said the new PSC is an exciting development for the company in the APAC region. “More businesses than ever are looking to the cloud — especially hybrid and multicloud — to gain a competitive advantage. With the launch of our new Partner Support Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Nutanix can more easily help partners across the region build programs and benefit from this growing demand. In turn, our partners will be better able to help their customers improve their IT models and devote more resources to growing and innovating their businesses,” he said.

InvestKL Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Azmi Zulkifli, said, “Nutanix’s investment in Greater Kuala Lumpur signifies a high level of trust and confidence toward Malaysia’s economic potential – one we are proud to support. The launch of the Nutanix APAC Partner Support Centre is in line with the government’s aspiration to position Malaysia as a cloud-first nation. This new centre is expected to further boost deep capacity development for local talent and ultimately continue to generate high-value jobs for Malaysians, leading to sustainable economic growth for the country.”

POCO F3: “The Real Beast”

Beast performance: Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 870 5G Mobile Platform
POCO F3 plays in the big leagues with the brand’s most powerful device yet, powered by the Snapdragon 870 5G Mobile Platform*. The device features an upgraded Qualcomm® Kryo™ 585 CPU prime core clock speed of up to 3.2 GHz, which is an industry-leading prime core clock speed. Along with the ultra-fast Qualcomm® Adreno™ 650 GPU, POCO F3 delivers superb game-play experience. Paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, the flagship setup guarantees faster read-write speeds for multitasking. The boosted performance is embodied in its high efficiency 7nm processor as well as the LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus which allows the device to deliver sustained peak performance.

POCO F3 meets all the latest benchmarks in connectivity, sporting a Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System for the lightning fast 5G connectivity* with support for the majority of global network bands. The device also supports Wi-Fi 6, putting it comfortably in league with high-end smartphones.

Beast 6.67" AMOLED display & premium design
POCO F3's 120Hz high refresh rate provides unprecedented smoothness when gaming on the large 6.67" AMOLED display. This beast also features one of the tiniest dots in the industry at just 2.76mm. Additionally, the 360Hz touch sampling rate and the fine-tuned touch algorithm allows the phone to respond extremely fast to the touch of a fingertip. The MEMC technology, adding up to 60fps, further enhances the smoothness of video content.

The HDR10+ certified display, along with the True Display and True Color features, provides a truly eye-pleasing viewing experience with vibrant, highly accurate color. More than that, the upgraded E4 material brings the screen’s peak brightness to 1300 nits, and helps reduce power consumption by 15% compared to the last-generation E3 material.

Crafted from a non-slippery material and measuring only 7.8mm thin and 196g in weight, the device feels comfortable and secure in the hand. At the same time, the Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 on both front and back gives the phone sturdy protection.

Beast entertainment with Dolby Atmos, AI triple camera setup and more
Rocking a dual speaker setup with a bottom main speaker and a secondary speaker at the top, POCO F3 produces rich, detailed sound. POCO F3 is the brand’s first device to enable Dolby Atmos**, leveling up your sound for a thoroughly impressive audio experience for videos, music, and games in the Dolby Atmos format, through both headphones and built-in speakers.

"We, at Dolby, are looking forward to the launch of the POCO F3 series, because not only are we thrilled to extend the extraordinary Dolby Atmos experience to smartphones from POCO, but we are also proud of the spectacular work done by POCO in enabling a world-class entertainment experience on the POCO F3," said Mahesh Balakrishnan, Vice President of Audio Business, Consumer Entertainment Group at Dolby Laboratories.

POCO F3's AI triple camera setup and myriad of crafty, innovative camera features help unleash photography skills. The rear cameras consist of a 48MP main camera with 1.6μm 4-in-1 large pixel, an 119° ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP telemacro camera that supports 3cm - 7cm autofocus. This finely tuned combo allows for stunning high-resolution and detailed images in lightning time, greatly improving the camera's versatility. The 20MP front camera also supports Night Mode selfie.

Unlike most of the dual-mic smartphones, POCO F3 has a triple-microphone setup and comes with Audio Zoom feature. When shooting a video, the dedicated third microphone on the rear allows the device to "zoom in" on the sound along with the image, capturing clear audio of far-away scenes and considerably improving sound reception during filming. Meanwhile, the X-axis linear haptic motor provides short, crisp vibrations to complete the flagship-level entertainment experience.

POCO F3 gets its power from no ordinary battery. The 4,520mAh (typ) battery can be powered up at lightning speed thanks to the Middle Middle Tab (MMT) technology, which routes electric current into the device more efficiently. With the 33W in-box fast charger, the device can be charged to 100% in just 52 minutes***.
