Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [4 July 2020]
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 15 cases have fully recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,461 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (97.7% of total cumulative cases). A total of 10 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,658 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 76 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 10 additional cases reported today, seven (7) are imported cases who were infected overseas, all involving Malaysians. Of the three (3) local transmission cases , one (1) case is a non-Malaysian – from screening of a police suspect in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan prior to transfer to prison; and two (2) cases among Malaysians. Cumulatively, 8,446 confirmed COVID-19 cases have fully recovered (97.66% of total cumulative cases). A total of 5 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today.
