Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [8 September 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 12 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,136 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (95.6% of total cumulative cases). A total of 100 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,559 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 295 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 100 additional cases reported today, 15 are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving two (2) Malaysians and 13 non-Malaysians . HONOR Sees 62% YoY Increase in Wearables Sell-Outs and Achieves No. 2 Market Position in Malaysia

Global smartphone brand HONOR earlier this month announced its business achievements for the first half of the financial year 2020 as part of the Huawei Consumer Business Group’s (CBG) dual-brand strategy. The company also revealed its plans for the second half in the local market. In China, smartphone sales fell by 22% year-on-year in the first quarter, with an exception of Huawei, which saw a 7% increase compared to the same period last year. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that nine (9) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,124 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (96.5% of total cumulative cases). A total of 62 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,459 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 207 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that two (2) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,115 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (97.0% of total cumulative cases). A total of six (6) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,397 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 154 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the six (6) additional cases reported today, three (3) are imported cases who were infected overseas all involving non-Malaysians .
