Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [20 September 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 40 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,355 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (91.6% of total cumulative cases). A total of 52 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 10,219 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 734 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment.  Of the 52 additional cases reported today, 12 are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving three (3) Malaysians and nine (9) non-Malaysians. Of the 40 local transmission cases reported today, 26 cases are Malaysians and 14 cases are non-Malaysians .   Currently, 10 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with two (2) patients on ventilation support . Cumulatively, 9,315 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (91.6% of total cumulative cases). A total of 20 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 10,167 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 722 active and infective COVID-19 cases . The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 14 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,264 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (91.3% of total cumulative cases). A total of 95 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 10,147 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 754 active and infective COVID-19 cases . Cumulatively, 9,250 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (92.0% of total cumulative cases). A total of 21 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. A total of 62 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today.
