Recently, we have been shocked by severe flooding in several states of this country. An estimated of 68, 341 victims and 18, 080 families had been evacuated from their homes and were placed in 396 temporary evacuation centres. This unexpected tragedy caused victims to lose their homes, belongings, and household equipment, as well as loved ones, in the blink of an eye. Although the flood has begun to recede, the victim’s suffering continues. In the face of economic uncertainty and the ongoing threat of the Covid-19 pandemic, flood victims seems to be far away from recovery. Due to this matter, Malaysian Red Crescent Kuala Lumpur (MRCKL) had launched a Bantuan Tabung Bencana initiative to collect post-flood donations for victims.
