Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [23 July 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that eight (8) cases have recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,574 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (97% of total cumulative cases). A total of nine (9) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,840 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 143 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the nine (9) additional cases reported today, three (3) are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving one (1) Malaysian and two (2) non-Malaysians (with family residing in Malaysia or allowed to enter Malaysia for work).  Of the six (6) local transmission cases, four (4) cases are among Malaysians and two (2) cases are among non-Malaysians. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that four (4) cases have recovered and discharged well today. Cumulatively, 8,566 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (96.9% of total cumulative cases). A total of 16 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,831 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 142 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. A total of 15 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. A total of 21 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively, 8,546 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (97.5% of total cumulative cases). Cumulatively, 8,541 confirmed COVID-19 cases have recovered and discharged (97.6% of total cumulative cases). A total of 18 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 8,755 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 92 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 18 additional cases reported today, 10 are imported case who were infected overseas , involving seven (7) Malaysians and three (3) non-Malaysians (allowed to enter Malaysian for work).
