Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [25 August 2020]

The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that six (6) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 8,971 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (96.6% of total cumulative cases). A total of 11 additional confirmed COVID-19 case were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,285 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 189 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 11 additional cases reported today, two (2) are imported cases who were infected overseas , involving one (1) Malaysian and one (1) non-Malaysian .  All nine (9) local transmission cases are among Malaysians .   Currently, eight (8) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs) , with six (6) patients on ventilation support. The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that six (6) cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 8,965 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (96.7% of total cumulative cases). A total of 7 additional confirmed COVID-19 case were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,274 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 184 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment. Of the 7 additional cases reported today, two (2) are imported cases who were infected overseas, all involving Malaysians. Of the 5 local transmission cases, 2 cases are among Malaysians and three (3) case is a non-Malaysian. Currently, eight (8) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), and 5 patient is on ventilation support. AirAsia Foundation #KnowtheSigns e-learning module can be accessed via internal Workday Learning platform. Following the United Nations World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on 30 July, AirAsia Foundation is proud to continue the fight and has launched its own #KnowtheSigns Anti-Trafficking Training, available to every Allstar. Since 2017 the AirAsia Foundation has facilitated classroom training for AirAsia cabin crew to provide them with the tools to recognise, report and record cases of human trafficking on our flights. A total of 1,580 Allstars have already completed the course over two and a half years.
