Current Updates on COVID-19 in Malaysia [26 October 2020]

  The Ministry of Health (MOH) is pleased to inform that today Malaysia reported 691 COVID-19 recovery cases. Therefore, cumulatively 17,825 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (64.1% of total cumulative cases).   A total of 1,240 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are 27,805 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 9,744 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment.   Of the 1,240 additional cases reported today, two (2) is an imported case who was infected overseas.   Currently, 94 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with 31 patients on ventilation support .   Regretfully, seven (7) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH today.   The Ministry of Health (MOH) is pleased to inform that today Malaysia reported 579 COVID-19 recovery cases. Therefore, cumulatively 17,134 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (64.5% of total cumulative cases).   A total of 823 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are 26,565 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 9,202 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment.   All 823 additional cases today are local transmission COVID-19 cases   Currently, 99 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with 30 patients on ventilation support .   Regretfully, eight (8) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 229 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (0.86% of total cumulative cases).

Therefore, cumulatively 16,555 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (64.3% of total cumulative cases).   A total of 1,228 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are 25,742 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 8,966 active and infective COVID-19 cases . They have all been isolated and given treatment.   Of the 1,228 additional cases reported today, eleven (11) is an imported case who was infected overseas.   Currently, 92 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with 31 patients on ventilation support .   Regretfully, seven (7) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH today.   The Ministry of Health (MOH) is pleased to inform that today Malaysia reported 467 COVID-19 recovery cases. Therefore, cumulatively 15,884 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (64.8% of total cumulative cases). The breakdown of cases that have recovered by state is as follows:   A total of 710 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are 24,514 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 8,416 active and infective COVID-19 cases . Applications for the latest round of the British Council’s Connections Through Culture (CTC) opens 16 October to 08 November 2020. The programme is a bilateral grants programme designed to seed exciting cultural exchanges between artists and arts organisations, and nurture cooperation and long-lasting relationships between the United Kingdom, and for 2020-2021, five Southeast Asian countries: Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. Cumulatively there are 22,225 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 7,681 active and infective COVID-19 cases .
