AirAsia reaffirms commitment for fleet migration to Airbus A321neo with conversion of remaining A320 orders
AirAsia Group (“Group”) has reaffirmed its commitment to transform its present mainly-A320 aircraft fleet to the higher-capacity, more fuel-efficient A321neo with the signing of an amendment agreement with Airbus S.A.S (“Airbus”), in which AirAsia will convert its remaining A320 aircraft orders to the A321neo. AirAsia Group Berhad Receives Approval from Danajamin Nasional Berhad for a Club Facility of up to RM500 million under the Danajamin Prihatin Guarantee Scheme
AirAsia Group Berhad (AAGB) yesterday announced it has received the approval from Danajamin Nasional Berhad (Danajamin) for an 80% guaranteed loan of up to RM500 million under the Danajamin Prihatin Guarantee Scheme, which is part of Malaysia’s Economic Stimulus Package following the unprecedented outbreak of Covid-19. The loan has been approved by AAGB’s lenders under a club deal term financing (Club Facility), with the aforementioned guarantee to be provided for the Club Facility by Danajamin via Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan (SJPP), a wholly-owned entity of the Ministry of Finance, Government of Malaysia.
